WRAP Testimonials:
“I feel more at ease with myself, I understand myself better and
accept I have an illness but that it does not have to limit me from enjoying life and following my passion, that is down to attending a Wrap group and following my own plan” David – Bradford “Since attending a Wrap course I now know the triggers to watch for and which wellness tools to put into practice. I know what to do if I find myself in crisis. I am much more open about my condition and more open to accept and seek the help when I need it. I feel more in control of my life and you can’t put a price on that” June P – Silsden “The course made me feel optimistic and it was a very positive course. It gave me hope that I could attain and hopefully maintain good mental health and if not to have a personal plan to work at getting it back on track. I did it whilst I was off sick from work and I don’t think I would have been able to go back to work without it” Ms J – Bradford “I have more confidence and belief in myself. I regularly use the tools I have learned in order to help achieve my goals, I still keep the folder of tools very close and refer to it often” Mrs D – Shipley |
"....I feel that completing a Wrap course has assisted me in my
recovery as a result of whjich my 4 children now have their mother back, my 6 siblings have their sister back and my parents have their daughter back!...." Andrea – Keighley “I felt that from the start this was different from other mental health groups and treatments. There was a sense of energy and hope. As the work went on it became clear that simple things make a big difference to how I feel and act. I’m very grateful to have Wrap as part of my life. Doing a Wrap has benefited me immensely, I see things in a different and more positive light, I have learnt to never give up, remember to look after myself and be kind to myself and others” Mr S – Saltaire “I felt safe in the Wrap, sharing with everyone, things that up to then I had not shared with anyone else. We were made to feel that we are important and we are worth looking after. I have had a life looking after others and did not realise till the Wrap course that my own needs are important too. I am not ashamed about my mental health anymore and can speak about it. I feel now I have tools to help me through situations." H. T. – Ilkley |
