Janette Ward – DirectorThe founder of Circles Work, Janette has a track record of creating and facilitating quality group experiences at the cutting edge. She is motivated by a strong value base and a passion for empowering people. Janette has over 30 years of practical experience working with people experiencing life’s challenges. Her overall objective is to enable people experiencing challenges with their mental wellbeing, to recover, maintain and sustain good mental wellbeing. She has personally encountered many of the issues that are raised by course participants, so brings the perfect blend of experience and understanding |
Janette has spent her working life in various professions in the fields of health and social care, starting as a nurse and then as a social worker.
She went on to work as an Advocate for a charity, alongside being a personal tutor and part-time lecturer for Leeds University on the BA (Hons) Social Work course.
Most recently she has been a Health and Wellbeing Worker for Mind designing and implementing courses for Mind users. The rewards and insights from running these courses, together with training to be an Advanced Facilitator of WRAP, naturally led to founding Circles Work to allow the delivery of WRAP and other courses to a wider audience.
